Altaa finished her masters degree in Computer Science in 2015 under the guidance of Bala Krishnamoorthy and myself, in collaboration with Krishnamoorthy Sivakumar in EECS at WSU. She worked on computing flat norm minimizers and wrote the first versions of the code that other students have since used and updated. Her PhD dissertation in mathematics was directed by Matt Sottile. I was a cochair of the committee. The reearc focused on aspects of analysis on networks and graphs. Altaa currently has a postdoc position at Emory University.
